Everyone is quite upset after learning Paresh Rawal's sudden exit from the highly anticipated Hera Pheri 3. The news left the team and fans shocked. Things got so serious that Akshay Kumar even took legal action against his longtime co-star. However, Paresh Rawal said he had strong reasons for his 'rightful exit' and had already returned the signing amount with interest. Today (June 9), the versatile actor hinted a new updates amid the controversy.
When one of the fans asked, "Sir, please think once again to join HERA FERI movie. You are the hero of this movie." Denying all of it, Paresha Rawal took to X (formerly Twitter), "NO … There are Three Heroes in Hera Pheri."
It seems Paresh Rawal won't be reprising the iconic role of Baburao in Hera Pheri 3. Despite the fans, the makers of Hera Pheri 3 are upset with Paresh Rawal's decision to quit the film. Everyone on the team, including Suniel Shetty and director Priyadarshan, was shocked by the news.
Earlier during the Housefull 5 trailer launch, Akshay Kumar reacted to the 'foolish' remark and talked about his bond, "I have worked with him for last 32 years. We are very good friends. He's a great actor. I really admire him. I don't think this is the right place where I am going to talk about it. It's a serious matter. The matter is going to be handled by the court. So, I think I am not going to speak about it here."
For the unversed, Akshay Kumar, who is acting in and producing the film, has taken legal action against him. His production house, through their lawyer, Pooja Tidke.
They told PTI, "There will be severe legal consequences. It's of course hurt the franchise. We have written to him letting him know that there are a lot of legal consequences involved. There have been expenses incurred towards the cast, towards the crew, towards leading senior actors, logistics equipment, and shooting of the trailer."
Paresh Rawal became widely loved for his role as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte in the first Hera Pheri (2000) and its sequel (2006). Now, with him stepping away, the future of the third film is uncertain.
