Housefull 5 Box Office Collection Day 3: Akshay Kumar Film's Weekend Report Out, FAILS To Cross Rs 100 Crore

Akshay Kumar’s highly anticipated comedy entertainer Housefull 5 had a massive release on June 6, 2025, with an unconventional twist—two alternate endings titled Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B releasing simultaneously. Despite this unique approach and a star-studded cast, the film has fallen short of crossing the Rs 100 Crore mark in its opening weekend.

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the fifth installment of the Housefull franchise began its theatrical journey with a promising start. It collected Rs 24 Crore on Day 1 (Friday), followed by a strong Rs 31 Crore on Day 2 (Saturday), buoyed by the weekend crowd. Day 3 (Sunday) also saw steady footfall, earning Rs 31.5 Crore. This brings the total weekend collection to Rs 86.50 Crore, as per early estimates by Sacnilk.

While the numbers are solid, the film was widely expected to enter the Rs 100 Crore club within the first three days, given the popularity of the franchise and its ensemble cast. However, mixed reviews and word-of-mouth may have slightly impacted its momentum.
