After winning the ODI series 3-0, England will play under Harry Brook's captaincy for the first time in T20I cricket as they host West Indies in a three-match T20I series. The first match will take place on Friday (June 6)} at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street.
The series against West Indies is Brook's first as full-time captain, but he had led the English team in ODIs before last year against Australia. However, he is yet to lead the national team in the shortest format and all eyes will be on his leadership in the shortest format.

Phil Salt has taken a paternity leave and pulled of the series.
This series marks Shai Hope's first since being named T20I captain and replacing Rovman Powell. The West Indies will also play a three-match T20I series against Ireland after the England series.
