'Go Away!' – Mitchell Starc Shouts At Indian Fan For Privacy Breach At Delhi Airport; Video Goes Viral

Mitchell Starc's participation in IPL 2025 is doubtful after the Australian pacer returned to Sydney to prepare for the World Test Championship final against South Africa. Starc, who represented Delhi Capitals (DC), returned home last week following the suspension of the IPL. The fearsome pacer faced a frustrating incident when a fan breached his privacy while he was loading his luggage into the trolley. The fan was shooting a vlog and wanted Starc to say something, but the pacer was visibly frustrated and shouted at the fan to 'go away'.

The video went viral on social media and drew mixed reactions. While a section of fans slammed the fan for irritating the pacer, others felt Starc's behaviour was unacceptable. WATCH

The IPL was suspended midway due to the border tensions with Pakistan. After both countries reached an agreement, the BCCI decided to resume the tournament from May 17.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals will also be without Jake Frazer McGurk for the remainder of the IPL 2025. The batter, who opened for DC in six games but returned with single-digit scores in five games, with the highest score of 38, reportedly informed the franchise about his decision. The Capitals later signed Mustafizur Rahman for the remainder of the season.

DC are placed fifth on the points table with six wins, four defeats, and a no result. Their match against Punjab Kings in Dharamsala was called off due to a technical failure. The match will be replayed in Jaipur on May 24. DC will have a decent chance of qualifying for the playoffs if they win the remaining three fixtures.
