Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper Shubman Gill lost his cool at the fourth umpire after a controversial decision by the third umpire in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday (May 2).
For those unversed, Gill made his third successive half-century in the 2025 IPL but once again missed the chance to score the 5th IPL century of his career after being dismissed for a 38-ball 76. The 25-year-old was run-out after a mix-up with Jos Buttler.
However, his dismissal divided opinions after a long check by the third umpire Michael Glough, as it appeared that SRH keeper Heinrich Klaasen disturbed the stumps with his gloves instead of the ball hitting it.
Gill was clearly not happy with the decision and charged towards the fourth umpire after leaving the field of play. The Indian cricket star was seen shouting at the umpire and was visibly angry before being taken away by Titans' coaching staff.
