NBK111: Gopichand Malineni Reunites With Nandamuri Balakrishna For Second 'Mass Celebration' After Veera Simha Reddy

After Daaku Maharaaj's massive success, Telugu cinema's "God of Masses" is all set to return to the big screen, louder, bolder, and more powerful than ever. Today (June 8), Jaat director Gopichand Malineni confirmed his next collaboration with veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna. Titled NBK111 for now, the film promises to be a full-throttle mass entertainer.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the renowned filmmaker announced the news and captioned, "THE GOD OF MASSES is back… and this time, we’re ROARING LOUDER! Honoured to reunite with #NandamuriBalakrishna garu for our 2nd MASS CELEBRATION together — #NBK111 This one’s going to be HISTORIC! 💥 Backed by the passionate force #VenkataSatishKilaru garu under @vriddhicinemas."

The new film will mark the reunion of Gopichand Malineni and Nandamuri Balakrishna after the 2023 hit Veera Simha Reddy. NBK111 will be produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas.

For the unversed, Nandamuri Balakrishna (NBK) kicked off the year with a smash with the hit film Daaku Maharaaj. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the movie also starred Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, and Urvashi Rautela, and earned over Rs 115 crores worldwide. The film is still making rounds on the internet.

After working with NBK, director Gopichand Malineni is reportedly expected to team up with Pawan Kalyan for another action film. However, the project hasn’t been officially confirmed and is likely to begin only next year.

On the other hand, Gopichand made his Bollywood directorial debut this year with Jaat, featuring Sunny Deol in the lead role. The film is currently streaming on Netflix.
