In a strong endorsement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu heaped praise on the PM, calling him the most capable leader for India's future.
During an exclusive interview with Times Now Group Editor-in-Chief Navika Kumar on Frankly Speaking, Naidu was asked about his current chemistry with Prime Minister Modi. He responded with unequivocal support for the PM, saying, "After 11 years time, we are all watching him. No other leader can do better than him. From 10th largest economy, 4th largest economy now, we'll go to 3rd largest economy..."
When asked if he thought Prime Minister Modi is the best leader, he responded, "That is what I am saying. I have seen so many Prime Ministers, I have worked with many Prime Ministers. Narendra Modi ji is more balanced, more mature. You know how to handle globally, how to handle our economy, and how to win the elections also."
On the sucess of Operation Sindoor, and how the Congress party criticised the Prime Minister for "surrendering" to US pressure, Naidu stood firmly by the Prime Minister. "The way Narendra Modi Ji has created Sindoor sentiment, every Indian is proud of him. And at the same time, right time, he ended the war. What more do you want?"
When asked about how Rahul Gandhi called it a "surrender", he dismissed the Congress' barbs as driven by "political interest, not national interest."
"Some people will talk, not national interest, (but) political interest," he said.
