Pune News: A 28-year-old junior doctor of a reputed hospital allegedly died by suicide at his residence in Pune, police said on Monday, reported PTI. The officials revealed that the dead body of the deceased was found hanging at his house in the Dhole Patil Road area late on Sunday night.
The police have identified the accused as Dr Shyam Vhora. The official added that a note mentioning the password for the doctor's mobile phone and a message "Thanks everyone" was found at the spot.
Though the police received the letter as a clue, but it did not clear the reason for taking the extreme step. The officials said they are yet to learn the exact cause of the alleged suicide. Meanwhile, they have launched an investigation, and are looking into the matter with all possible angles.
"We are yet to ascertain the exact reason for the suicide, and a probe has been initiated," the official said, the media report added.

Hinjewadi Suicide Case

In a separate incident, a 25-year-old woman who worked in IT died after jumping from the 21st floor of a building in Hinjewadi, Pune. The police said the incident happened on May 31 while she was visiting a friend. She left a suicide note behind.
The woman was identified as Abhilasha Bhausaheb Kothimbhire. On the day she died, she arrived at the Crown Green Society around 4:30 am and went to her friend’s flat on the 21st floor before jumping.
