Shaheen Afridi is a Pakistani international cricketer who is the former captain of Pakistani international cricket team. He was born on 6 April 2000.

Career

Shaheen Afridi is one of the great bowler of Pakistani team. Lahore Qalandars won their first PSL title in the 2022 season and again went on to win the 2023 season, becoming the first team in PSL history to successfully defend their title under his supervision. He is also the first Pakistani to win the Garfield Sobers Trophy.
He was included in Pakistan Under-19 cricket team selected for the 2016 Under-19 Asia Cup held in Sri Lanka. In Pakistan's nine-wicket victory over Singapore in their opening U-19 Asia Cup encounter, he claimed three wickets for 27 runs.
He made his Twenty20 debut in 2018 Pakistan Super League for Lahore Qalandars then he made his List A debut for Baluchistan on 25 April 2018.

Talking about his international career he was named in Pakistan's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against the West Indies on March 2018. He was included in Pakistan's One Day International (ODI) team for the 2018 Asia Cup in September of that year. On September 21, 2018, he played his first-ever ODI for Pakistan against Afghanistan.
