India Spinner Kuldeep Yadav Gets Engaged To Childhood Friend Ahead Of England Tour - See Pic

Kuldeep Yadav got engaged to his childhood friend before the England tour. The private ceremony was held in Lucknow on Wednesday (June 4). Rinku Singh, who will soon get engaged, was among the cricketers who attended the event. Kuldeep was part of Delhi Capitals (DC) in IPL 2025. His season came to an early end as DC crashed out of the league stage.

Jagran has reported that Kuldeep and Vanshika are childhood friends. There is no update on their wedding date yet. Kuldeep is part of the Test squad for the five-match series against England and will soon leave for the UK.

The five-match Test series between the two teams is scheduled to be played from June 20 to August 4. The players will leave for England next week. Kuldeep, who played the Lord's Test in 2018, is expected to be the second-choice spinner after Ravindra Jadeja.

Playing for Delhi Capitals, Kuldeep Yadav scalped 15 wickets in 14 matches in the season. He bowled with an economy rate of 7.07. He finished as DC's highest wicket-taker in the season.

With 539 runs, KL Rahul finished as DC's highest run-scorer. The right-handed batsman hit a century and 3 half-centuries.

With 7 wins from 14 matches, DC finished in fifth position in the points table. The Axar Patel-led side was at the top spot at one stage in the tournament. DC failed to keep the momentum as the tournament progressed and dropped out of the top 2. Eventually, they failed to qualify for the second round of the season.

DC could make few changes to their team going into IPL 2026 and a couple of players could get released. DC haven't played an IPL final since 2020. It remains their only appearance in an IPL final.
