2025 Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE Launched In India: Everything You Need To Know

Suzuki Motorcycles India has officially launched the 2025 V-Strom 800 DE. This new model features an OBD2B-compliant engine and several new colour options. Since this is primarily a minor update, no significant changes have been made to the adventure tourer’s mechanics. The 2025 V-Strom 800 DE is priced at ₹10.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

What’s New On The V-Strom 800 DE For 2025?

The V-Strom 800 DE is equipped with a 776cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that now complies with OBD2B standards. It continues to deliver 83 hp and 78 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. In addition to the engine update, Suzuki's flagship adventure motorcycle in India comes in two new colour options: Pearl Tech White with blue spoked rims, Champion Yellow No. 2 with blue rims, and Glass Sparkle Black with black rims.

What Remains The Same With This Update?

The V-Strom 800 DE retains its features, including Showa inverted front forks and a Showa mono-shock rear suspension with hand-adjustable spring preload. It has a ground clearance of 220 mm, a seat height of 855 mm, and a kerb weight of 232 kg. The motorcycle is fitted with a 21-inch aluminium rim at the front and a 17-inch rim at the back, both equipped with semi-block pattern adventure tires.
